Why do you #Smoothie? 🍹⠀ ⠀ Your smoothie doesnt have to be super fancy & you don't need to specifically go out & get ingredients to make one (unless you want to). 😊⠀ ⠀ Use whatever you have in the fridge and follow this ratio to have smoothies for life ✔⠀ ⠀ 1 part fluid 🚰⠀ 1 part fruit/veggies 🍓⠀ 2 parts thickener🍌⠀ + Other nutritional enhancers 💪

Ideas 💡⠀ Fluid: water, coconut water, various milks ⠀ Thickeners: plain yogurt, kefir, various milks, bananas, frozen fruit/veggies, avocado, oats.⠀ Nutritional enhancers: chia seeds, protein powder, collagen powder, flax seeds, wheat germ, matcha. ⠀ ⠀ Depicted above: 👆⠀ Fruit - blueberries, frozen freshly picked Ontario strawberries from @herrles_market & banana ❇⠀ Veggies - spinach ❇⠀ Thickener - banana, splash of 3% milk, frozen strawberries ❇⠀ Fluid - water ❇⠀ ⠀ Hint ✴⠀ Freeze any leftover fruit & veggies you mass pick or freeze the ones that you know will go bad before you are able to finish them (like bananas and spinach). ✌

Cater to whatever your nutritional needs are & smoothie it up! What's in your smoothie? 💟 .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #summersmoothie #smoothieonabudget#smoothiesforlife #summerfood#whatsinyoursmoothie #nutrition#nutritioninacup #strawberries #localfarm#localfood #kwawesome #fitness#HealthyNation #healthydrinks #localisbetter
